Love |
|
God's love
So different and supreme,
Far above any love that
I have seen and felt.
God's love
That in the best of life
Can only be imitated.
A love so high above man
That it could
Lift man from his run towards hell
And set him on higher ground,
Heaven bound.
A love that cleanses,
Strengthens
Encourages
Protects
Rejoices.
God's love,
Seen in the body and blood
Of Christ himself,
Dying on the cross
And rising
To live forever.
God's love
In sending the
Holy Spirit to
Dwell within.
God's love,
So far beyond my comprehension
And understanding
That I must bow
And say,
Thank you, God, for loving me. |
