Communion |

The communion of believers,
A most precious time I see
The sharing of the Word of God,
How Jesus died for me.
The washing of the feet of saints
As humbly we do kneel
Obedient to our Lord' s command
To point to cleansing real.
Like the Bride that' s in the future
And the feast of love to come
We all share the common meal
And then songs we sing or hum.
With the body of the Lord, the bread,
His blood, the cup we take,
We do symbolize his death for us
The payment he did make.
Then a song amongst believers
With all hands joined in a prayer.
What a blessed time the Lord allows
His chosen ones to share! |
