The Bottom Line

Dear Reader:

It is my prayer that these poems have given you comfort and hope. They have come from my heart as God has worked in my life to bring me closer to Himself. It is only through faith in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, that I have found the peace that the world seeks, but rarely finds.

You may already have the salvation and peace that God offers all though the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. If so, let God be praised! BUT if you don't have the peace with God or don't have assurance or are still seeking the answers to life's meaning, here are some words from God's Word, the Holy Bible. (New International Version)

"Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures..." I Corinthians 5:3,4

"This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe...for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented him as a sacrifice of atonement, through faith in his blood."
Romans 3:22-25

"'What must I do to be saved?' They replied, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved...'" Acts 16:30-31

"Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death."
Romans 8:1,2

"Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent...but born of God."John 1:12,13

"This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins." I John 4:9,10

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6,7

"For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." Romans 8:38-39

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because he has not believed in the name of God's one and only Son." John 3:16-18

God cares very much about you and he wants to become your Heavenly Father. I pray that you will know Christ as your Savior and that you will find the peace, comfort, and hope that comes from Him alone.
