Daddy's Song

Back to Index

To the Tune of O Holy Night

O hallowed nap
I take it after dinner
And I will tell you it
Sure is a winner.

Long may I nap
Without an interruption
By wife or kids or
By others with gumption.

The thrills of napping
I cannot quite explain it
But I can say that without it
My strength draineth.

Oh! Supper nap!
I hear the couch, it calleth!
Oh! Lovely nap!
Onto the couch I falleth!

Oh nap, sublime!
Oh nap, oh nap of mine!
